A SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF CLARKSVILLE’S 

FY 2019-2020 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT 

ANNUAL ACTION PLAN/FIVE-YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN 

TO ALLOCATE AND USE CARES ACT (CDBG-CV) FUNDING 


This notice will inform interested persons of the CARES ACT (CDBG-CV) Substantial Amendment to the City of Clarksville’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-2020. 

The proposed amendment would allow the City to apply and utilize $1,439,761.00 in Community Development Block Grant-CV (CDBG-CV) funding to fund CDBG-CV eligible activities.


Organizations interested in applying for CDBG-CV dollars must submit an application to Office of Housing and Community Development. 


YOU MUST ATTEND AT LEAST 1 VIRTUAL MEETING IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR FUNDS.

Questions & Responses

1. I am unable to access the CDBG-CV budget template from the links provided. Could you please send the form directly or confirm that the links are working? Also, could you please explain the reporting requirements for this funding?  

              -We are still in the process of determining our reporting requirements. You will be informed of this information during the contract orientation. The link is working, but I have attached the excel spreadsheet for your convenience.

2. Is there a cap on the amount of the proposal requests? 

             -There is no minimum or maximum request amount set for this application. 

3. Please explain what I need to do with the precontract documents checklist. 

             -The pre-contract checklist document includes all of the documents that are required to complete your application. Towards the end of your application, you will see questions requiring you to attach a document that will be located in the pre-contract document.
