Crime Scene Team (CST)
In the event of a homicide, suspicious death and/or suicides, the CST is notified to respond and processes the scene using photography, videography and sketching.

Detectives
Detectives and/or Agents are assigned the responsibility of handling those investigations which require special expertise, or because of their complexity or geographical considerations do not lend themselves to be readily completed by patrol officers.

Dispatch
The Clarksville Police Dispatch’s mission is to strive to deliver the highest level of professional service to the public, police officers, firefighters, and external agencies.

Emergency Services Unit
In order to substantially reduce the risk of injury or loss of life to citizens, police officers and suspects; the Clarksville Police Department has established a Emergency Services Unit, which will be composed of the Tactical Unit and the Crisis Negotiations Team.

K9 Services Unit
The Canine Services Unit currently consist of four dual purpose canines that assist all divisions of the Clarksville Police Department.

Records Division
The Clarksville Police Department Records Division houses all information regarding incidents and accidents that occur within the City of Clarksville.

The department is committed to the suppression of narcotics and vice crime as well as organized crime.

Training Division
The Clarksville Police Department Training Division is responsible for all aspects of training sworn police officers and non sworn personnel.

Traffic / Community Relations / Parks Unit
The primary responsibilities of the Traffic / Parks Unit of the Clarksville Police Department are the enforcement of traffic laws on the major roadways to reduce traffic collisions, their resulting injuries, and to facilitate the safe and expedient flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
